The point of the project is to do something to go against social norms and experience the reactions of others. I chose to wear a dress to school which I have not done since early elementary school and my friends know I'm normally strongly unwilling to do.
In the morning I put on a black dress with gold markings resembling a map. It was designed to resemble a magic map used in the Harry Potter book series. It felt weird to put it on and even weirder to wear it out of the house. My friends were a little surprised but liked it and commented their approval to me. A few people I did not know well mentioned that they liked it. I still felt like it was not was I was supposed to be wearing it. It felt good to take it off at the end of the day.
